Carpet Fibre

Carpet fibre is a highly popular surface choice for both riding arenas and turnout pens, offering excellent cushioning, stability, and drainage. Made from pre-treated, equine-safe recycled materials, carpet fibre provides a consistent, low-dust surface that supports joint health, reduces concussion, and minimises surface movement — making it ideal for flatwork, schooling, lunging, and turnout.

Silica Sand

Silica sand is a high-performance surface material widely used in equestrian arenas, turnout pens, and lunge areas. Known for its consistency, stability, and excellent drainage properties, silica sand provides a firm yet cushioned footing that supports both horse comfort and rider control. When installed correctly over a properly prepared base with effective drainage, silica sand creates a low-dust, low-maintenance surface suitable for everything from daily schooling to competition-level training.

Silica Fibre Mix

A silica sand and fibre mix is a premium choice for riders seeking a high-performance, all-weather equestrian surface. Combining the stability and drainage of fine silica sand with the cushioning and structure provided by synthetic fibres, this surface delivers excellent shock absorption, energy return, and reduced surface movement — ideal for flatwork, jumping, and daily schooling. The added fibre helps bind the sand particles together, creating a more consistent and secure footing that mimics turf-like conditions.

Rubber

Rubber is a popular additive or top layer for equestrian arenas, offering enhanced cushioning, reduced concussion, and improved grip underfoot.
